The SPARK team has 20 years’ experience in acting as a NOMAD to companies quoted on AIM, with two of our partners having been approved as Qualified Executives at the time of AIM’s creation in 1995.
SPARK’s work covers:
Ongoing regulatory compliance – we ensure that Boards of client companies are fully aware of the regulatory regime in which their companies operate and the consequences of various corporate actions. In addition, we project manage the production of Admission Documents/circulars (requiring shareholders’ approval under the AIM Rules) and regulatory announcements.
Independent Financial Advice – providing independent strategic advice to clients, as well as practical and commercial advice on:
Fundraising/Broking Liaison – introducing and/or working alongside clients’ brokers in situations where equity fund-raising or shareholders’ approval is sought. The SPARK team, having worked in both integrated broking houses, and as an independent advisor within SPARK, have practical, hands-on experience and understanding of the corporate broking requirements/market facing skills required to guide clients.
As trusted advisor, and with the ability to call on SPARK’s debt advisory and M&A advisory specialists, SPARK is able to offer truly independent advice on strategic options for clients.
Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) – over the years the SPARK team has acted as NOMAD sponsoring dozens of companies seeking IPOs (or re-Admission following Reverse Takeovers). Recently SPARK has acted for IMIMobile plc on its IPO in 2014 in which it raised £30m of equity.
We can also provide AIM companies (or unquoted PLCs) with independent advice in relation to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
